International Executive Service Corps

International Executive Service Corps is an American private international economic development not-for-profit organization. Its head office is located in Washington, D.C. Geekcorps is a division of IESC. IESC was founded in 1964 by David Rockefeller, States M. Mead III, and other prominent Americans.

IESC's mission, which emerged from and was inspired by David Rockefeller, States M. Mead III, and Sol M. Linowitz's vision more than 40 years ago, focuses on improving the lives of people throughout the world by strengthening private enterprise. Through its worldwide programs and more than 25,000 assistance assignments, IESC has brought positive change to more than 130 countries. IESC has implemented complex development programs across every economic sector (public and private), created over one million jobs, delivered more than $500 million in donated services from its volunteer experts, and facilitated more than $3 billion in purchases of U.S. goods and services by overseas clients.
